One platform, different styles

Oticon Opn is available in different shapes and many colours.

  • Discreet — The small miniRITE comes in a range of subtle colours to blend in with the skin or hair of a wide range of people

  • Telecoil — The discreet miniRITE-T features telecoil and a double push-button

  • Easy to use — The larger BTE13 PP provides more power, a telecoil, and user-friendly features including a large, double push-button and LED status indicator

A choice of three performance levels

All three members of the Oticon Opn family provide the open sound experience that is proving so popular. However, each model gives the brain a different level of assistance – a different level of BrainHearing™ support.

BrainHearing support is delivered by a unique combination of technologies working together to reduce listening effort and provide the brain with better conditions to perform in. All three members of the Opn family provide the unique open sound experience, with access to multiple speakers. However, they differ in the amount of support they give the brain in terms of rapid noise reduction, localisation of sounds, speech clarity, and the personalisation of the listening experience – i.e. they differ in the level of BrainHearing support they deliver.

Open sound in a power instrument

Now that Oticon Opn gives up to 138dB SPL, people with severe-to-profound hearing loss can enjoy the ground-breaking open sound experience. This lets them more easily locate and separate sound sources including multiple speakers, so they can focus on what they find important. And because it’s Opn, they get the latest in wireless connectivity in a stylish package that perfectly balances size, user-friendliness and power.

Solutions for many different hearing aid users

Oticon Opn began with 60 dB and 85 dB speakers on a discreet miniRITE style. Then we added 100 dB and 105 dB speakers. Now we have introduced two more styles that both feature easy-to-use, double push-buttons: a new discreet miniRITE with a telecoil, and the BTE style that can produce up to 138 dB SPL.

With all these options, the Oticon Opn range can cover the particular needs of most people with hearing loss ranging from mild to severe-to-profound. What’s more, all Oticon Opn models now have Tinnitus SoundSupport technology as standard.

Tinnitus SoundSupport™

This proven sound generator technology is now integrated into Oticon Opn hearing aids. With these cutting-edge hearing aids, you can offer clients a wide range of customisable tinnitus relief sounds that are dynamic, yet soothing — including broadband sounds (White, Pink and Red noise) and natural, ocean-like sounds. What’s more, clients can discreetly adjust the sounds using their iPhone or Android device.

Speech Rescue™ LX

Not hearing high-frequency sounds such as ‘s’ or ‘sh’ can affect flow and understanding of conversation. The new and improved Speech Rescue LX takes an innovative and precise approach to frequency lowering. Instead of simply compressing high-frequency sounds, it copies them and moves them to mid-frequencies. This rescues speech cues that would otherwise be lost and increases speech understanding.
