speech-rescue

Speech Rescue™

Oticon introduces an innovative frequency composition technique called Speech Rescue™ (available in Dynamo and Sensei SP). Genie provides an individualised automatic prescription for a quick and easy fitting. Furthermore, with the Speech Rescue™ fine-tuning tool, you have the freedom to adjust how much the signal is lowered and how much energy it holds.

personalisation-for-those-with-severe-to-profound-hearing-loss

Personalisation for those with severe-to-profound hearing loss

Working with patients who have severe-to-profound hearing loss means that you often encounter a high degree of variability in performance. Even if patients have similar audiograms, the need for different personalisation options is apparent. Oticon has therefore added Bass Compensation in Automatic Manager (for Dynamo and Sensei SP), and have also updated the Preference Manager with questions tailored to individuals with a severe-to-profound hearing loss (available based on audiogram/hearing loss).

get-genie-updater

Get Genie Updater

  • Easy access to new versions of Genie or updates as soon as they are released.

  • The updater runs silently in the background and checks for updates automatically – you will only be notified when you need to take action.

Feedback Manager has been improved

To provide a better fitting guidance, a new predicted feedback margin is indicated by the grey area. This displays the area where feedback is expected to occur. An actual feedback limit-curve will be displayed only once a feedback measurement has been completed. If the result of the measurement is not satisfactory, it is now possible to:

Click the plus or minus buttons to adjust the feedback limit in 1 dB steps. When gain has been reduced, it will also be adjusted.

Click UNDO to restore the feedback limit and gain to the default settings (including any gain adjustments).
